If you take a trip to New York.  do not die there.  Don’t fall off a skyscraper.  Don’t get hit by a subway… don’t walk into traffic.  Stay alive.

These are the last things former Nike executive Erik Hagerman remembers: James Comey is the FBI director, Charlottesville hasn't happened, nothing new has happened with North Korea, and he's completely unaware of the Las Vegas shooting, Roy Moore, or Stormy Daniels. He has literally shut himself out from the world.

Want to know what the new hot trend in office decor is? Filthy rich. Yes, I'm talking about $31,000 mahogany tables and $139,000 office doors. Let's go to Washington D.C. where HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke are leading this charge.

When you hear another country's national anthem, don't they all kind of sound the same? We may know the first two words in Canada's anthem, but that's about it. Germany, according to the New York Times, is trying to make their anthem gender neutral and it's causing a kerfluffle. Say what you want about ours, it avoids this particular pitfall.

There is a new status symbol in Silicon Valley...chickens. The Washington Post reports that the new, trendy humblebrag is having a dang chicken. The goal is to own the happiest chickens. To do that you need to secure a $20,000 coop, get an exotic breed, feed them organic salmon and steak, and produces pale-blue eggs. I'm not joking.

We've been told that we can't hear dog whistles. That's not really the case. I'll prove it. Also, I have the sound of a Jacobin hummingbird, the complete opposite of the dog whistle, courtesy of the New York Times. This all relates to racism, politics, and President Donald Trump. Confused? I'll explain.

How often have you gone to work, seen a coworker that's obviously sick, and wondered if they were contagious? Don't worry. I've gathered information from flu experts so you can plan accordingly.

For 28 years, the Simpsons have been poking fun at both liberals and conservatives. Almost three decades. Now think about this, the characters almost never look straight at the camera. Their expressions have always been to the left or right. No middle ground. Sound familiar?

Eva Marie Saint was brilliant during the Oscars. Did you see her? She was in a movie about a Russian submarine that runs aground off the coast of Massachusetts. The movie was set during the Cold War and was a comedy. Moviegoers loved it and it was screened at the Kremlin. It actually eased tensions a bit. My question is this, would a movie like this, set during the present, even be possible?

The JM Smucker Company, which makes Kibbles 'n Bits and Gravy Train, just issued a bizarre statement. Apparently, there is no dog meat in their dog food...but there was trace amounts of pentobarbital in their pet food. Do you know what that is? It's the stuff they use to euthanize pets.Yeah, this is real.

Allow me to introduce you to Claudia Soffer. She's sort of Instagram famous with 3-million followers. She's now apologizing for some racist tweets about former President Barack Obama...so what's her excuse? She was only 16. It sure doesn't help that she's the daughter of well-known and rabit anti-muslim activist Pamela Geller.

Apparently we've gone to war with Canada. The first assault came yesterday in Miami Gardens, Florida. Canada's Air Force was flying over Florida's coast when something sinister dropped from one of the planes...and into bed with Luce Rameau.

You've heard the expression that money can't buy happiness...but the truth is more complicated than that. According to a new study in happiness research, money can to a certain extent. However, there is a limit on that as well.

it seems like we are always telling toddlers to take things out of their mouths. They hate it, but we know it's for their own good. That being said, what if your child's skin was allergic to water? It's Aquagenic urticaria and that's exactly what Ivy Angerman from Minnesota is dealing with.

There's a secret behind the counter at your neighborhood pharmacy...and it's going to drive you mad. You know that prescription you paid $20 for? How would you feel if I told you it would have been eight bucks if you paid with cash?

I finally have proof that if you wait long enough, your old clothes become high fashion. The new trend in Paris is "Dad Style." That's right, your baggy jeans, polo shirt, and track jacket is now the hot new look. Just don't expect to pay reasonable prices for the designer dad look.

I once slept in a hotel room in Nashville, Tennessee that President Barack Obama had stayed in. President George Bush also slept in that same room. For some bizarre reason, I started wondering if any of their hair had been left behind. Turns out I'm not as crazy as I thought.

Pyeongchang is in the history books and everyone is going home. This may be a surprise to you, but this is a relief to one set of athletes. I'm talking about cross country skiers and their enormous appetites. You probably didn't know this...but they have to consume over 8,000 calories a day. I'll tell you how they do it.

Trashy behavior is always funny to laugh about, but if you're looking for real trash behavior...go to rural China. We're talking far away from Bejing. There is a new trend when someone dies...and it's fairly erotic. Mourners fire strippers to "work" the funeral...and the Chinese Ministry is pretty upset about it.

Millions of us hit the couch to watch the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The performances are amazing and the incredible display of athleticism leaves us all breathless...but what happens when the lights go out? What happens is disappoint. Truly a dirty little secret.

Did you realize that you could've been in the Olympics? Just look at Elizabeth Swaney, the athlete who represented Hungary in the Freestyle Half Pipe. She's not one of the best in her sport...she's actually just a wannabe who miraculously...and shamefully, made it to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

I'm assuming you've heard Fergie's rendition of the National Anthem at the NBA All-Star Game. Twitter had a lot of fun making fun the artistic risk she took. This anthem is not even close to being the worst. I'll prove it.

There are billions of dollars of investment capital out there if your idea is good enough. These poor billionaires have to listen to countless pitches...poor rich people. That being said, a venture capital company in Finland actually wants to hear your pitch...provided you jump through some interesting hoops...and the Baltic Sea.

The Utah house said no to the "Duty to Assist in Emergency Bill." The bill would've required you to provide reasonable assistance to a victim in distress. That reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld...

Let's talk about the Olympic Theme Music...no, not the one you are constantly hearing on KSL 5. That is not the Olympic Theme. You will hear the original team if the athletes from Russia win a gold medal. The music you hear on T.V has a much different history. Let me introduce you to Bugler's Dream, Leo Arnaud, and John Williams.
