A white woman in South Africa has been sentenced to prison for a racist rant against a black police officer who was trying to help her after a robbery.
She yelled a word at the officer that isn't commonly known in the United States. It's a word that in South Africa is so awful and offensive, they made it illegal to say. They call it "the k-word."
Vicki Momberg was given a three-year sentence, convicted of violating the dignity of the police officer with racially offensive comments.
She is the first South African ever to be put in prison for racist speech.
